The moon nodded her dismay
Thunder clouds did roar The sun hid and tried to cry The stars twinkled in silent harmony The air was foggy stagnant still The earth their Mother Earth Their trusted friend Old as the universe The one that was blue green red white Was in deep dark trouble Later……… much Later Clouds emotion outbursts over The rainbow looked on Pondering arched her strong back Over some mountain She was a picture of delight Putting her show on A long way down A child sat praying Looked up She saw her rainbow Her sun came out There was hope The moon smiled again The thunder clouds coughed his last husky breath The sun did shine and lit up his smile The stars danced The air cleared to pure inhalations A new day tomorrow They waved in unison To the child “Mother Earth God speed God speed “ They echoed all as one
