First love

First love

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)

I slept with him once !
Who ?he asked
Putting the tv on mute

Looking slightly alarmed
To say the least

Him I said
Though several times I added
Pointing to my
Antique teddy bear
In the glass display cabinet
With the sewn on
Hand

Oh him ! he laughed
Yes him !
I said in defence
He was my first real love

Tv back on like nothing had registered

I miss him I thought

I know said teddy silently

Wonderfully spoken as we never forget our first love, always remaining in our hearts. ;-}

Thanks I truly appreciate that
Do you have cameras in my home? I felt that!
Ah so sweet but
“I miss him I thought
I know said teddy silently”
These broke something hard.
Still so cute tho. Thanks for sharing
