Just something I wrote while thinking of my ex-boyfriend!

 See me....... feel me

feel my pain, yet

you wont let me go, please

release the hold

you have on my heart

 

you are the one

who walked away, but

you took my heart with you....

this hold you have

is slowly killing me

 

Not my literal soul, no

but my vital spirit

the one- which is me

this "me" you fell in love with

 

Can you bear to know

the pain I constantly feel

like someone stabbing me

my precious heart beating ever slower

 

I saw you from afar

let you go your own way

but this hold, your hold

I fear will always be there

 

Our love is timeless

never ending

your pain is my pain

as we walk a different path!

I too can relate to this, its a great poem of a never ending love that has had its fair share of pain along the way..

Though, in true love I believe the spirit can be refreshed, and needs not to dwell on the past and what cannot change.
Alleviated pain, refreshed endurance and new beginnings are all possible out comes if you truly know and believe in the love you have...
