The Day of my Muse

 

 

He came to me unknown

and shot his sweet smile

lighting up my heart

feelings soared for miles

 

This man-my muse

he gave to me,shared with me

what I was searching for

and helped me see

 

There's beauty in life

as my words do flow

I fill the pages

my heart's aglow

 

Each day I take

with pen in hand

to pour my soul

out on the sand

 

When I get stuck

my thoughts unclear

my muse' smile

melts all my fear

 

Again I can write

what's in my heart

to tell the world

I'm here to fight

 

To fight for the right

my soulful words;

stories of hope, sadness, greed

for: “the pen is mightier than the sword”.
