A Poem by Vincent Makhathini

...Shallow waters still flow
Soul
Struggling to balance above these waters I hope I don't fall
On my knees;
my skin bleeds from praising all but my own pride
Tribe floral aura washed away by incessant acid rains
Rain dancing underneath the ratchet storm stomping rapidly for joy and sunny skies
Frenzy lucrative, the inner storming with love tides
Madly excited,
the horizon drags a path for the storm of paint on its way
It fades to shades of grey, lunar 360 complete my emotions
With shards of maroon my heart is filled with love for the full moon
Inside the green house eye watch them bloom
Growth
I compare her to the womb
Found passion in the earth you let it quake the ground so you can grow...
