Alpha Minus.

Alpha Minus.

A Poem by just_teague
"

watching a fox clean its bloodied jaws in the snow.

"

I herald monsters and wisps of shadow--

I made a blanket to gather the sad things.

Here they are.

It seems that

even as I climb out the window

I always carry this room with me.

I hated to leave you behind,  or your luminous arcane eyes.

And with the cityscape behind you…

Well… I’ve always loved silhouettes.

Ever since Pat.

Brave little warrior, silly gypsy, fellow misanthrope.

I could have kissed your mouth so many times over.

Instead I put on a fresh coat of lipstick to kiss shadows,

small red blossoms in the dark,

signs of lost love.

If you follow them, we may find each other.

The little note at the beginning was intense. I liked this.

a fresh coat of lipstick to kiss shadows.

it's good, ya?

:: your poetry is very mellifluous even though it's got stark and sad images... there's always a ray of light at the end of it all... much like life itself... :)
