Dry Tears

Dry Tears

A Poem by Justice

Can you see my tears

The dry drips of emotion

The life blood of my heart

The spine of all my fears

You don’t see them do you

Those dry droplets

Leaking from my soul

All you find is my mask

Who I chose to show

Do you really want to know

That my heart is tied to you all

Your pain is my own

For all I try, I can’t let this go

Now I’m going to let you know

Here I am

Broken,

Beaten,

Bruised.

Now I’m here for you

I will fight for your safety

Protect your secrets

Heal your wounds

For every cut to you

Bits me as well

The individual is merely tangible

Our souls are all of the same family

So to my brother and sister

Let me help

Don’t isolate your self,

Listen to those who would hurt,

Cut yourself off from love

You’ll leave those who love you crying

Dripping waterless tears

I am not the only one

Many others will do

The same as I for you

This particular section I found absolutely brilliant. Your wrods were personal yet easilly connected to all who love others.

Are you saying that those who you love don't know how much you feel/hurt for them? And do they not see past your mask because they don't care or because you're such a good actor?
