The Lost Little Girl

The Lost Little Girl

A Poem by jasmine levert

The Lost Little Girl

The lost little girl who has nowhere to go.

Both of her parents abandoned her when she was a few days old.

She has been passed from adoption centers to foster homes.

This lost little girl never found a place where she truly belonged.

The lost little girl is now a young teenager.

She is angry and filled with despair.

She feels if she died that nobody would care.

She doesn’t really care.

The lost little girl has been consuming herself with drugs and bad boys.

Who all of them had used and abused her as if she were a toy.

This girl is truly lost.

If she doesn’t get help her life will be lost.

Your writing is very honest and blunt. It's wonderfully refreshing to read no-holds-barred poetry like yours. Thanks for sharing! =)
