there's too much talk of ghosts.

there's too much talk of ghosts.

A Poem by K. Edward Warmoth
"

simple.

"
I say "at the moment" when I tell people how I am
because I don't believe that anything is really constant,
except maybe the eyes of children searching the sky,
wondering which parent lied more.

I know what the word "gone" means.
It means that I don't pause before handing away my menu.
It means less of a strain on my back,
because moving a twin bed through a doorway is an easy task.

It means nothing either which way.
where it was, I shall become.

Your work reminds me of a kaleidoscope. The first stanza actually drew a "ha!" from me, aloud. The images twist and turn and melt into each other and yet... manage to create a cohesive narrative. Maybe. Ghosts, indeed. I love your work.

great write,
some sharp lines in there,
i like the second verse a lot,
'I know what the word "gone" means.
It means that I don't pause before handing away my menu.'
