India's habbit

India's habbit

A Poem by writ rajat

They are the outlaw, the true rebel, the inexorable,
Out of the box artist.
If brazil has its graffitti designer of walls,
We have spit-artist with us in our homeland.
Spitters a.k.a spit-artist, dont require costly spray paint,
1 rupiya gukhkha or 5 rupiya paan is enough,
india is a poor country indeed.

Out spit artist dont even require the whole wall to influence you,
Corner or lowe border of wall is enough to disgust you.
No one in india is immune of experiencing there art,
On roads in every feet you can observe there efforts,
In railway station, govt offices, court of law, police stations,
These are specific target places. A spit in here really means
" all i wanna say is this, they dont really care about us" , but some educated india
n dont understand it, they think its just a spit.

The intelligentia britist even blamed them that they spread diseases like TB and pneumonias.
Modi ji targeted them by initiating swacch bharat abhiyaan,
Corporate world do it by wiping there walls 6 times a day.

They are like true maoist, never forget to leave there "laal salam".

From what I gather here, just as in other places where graffiti is common for the same purpose, the art of spitting, by the poor, is a form of social protest against the elitist establishment ... Not a bad hobby to learn here in America, as there a quite a number of politicians I would like to spit on, or at ... Rajat, you may be unaware of this but, you share information that the world needs to know and be informed of ... Thank you for sharing your heart penned to page ...

That's a habbit of artists we encouraged and that must be a habit to be banned by us....artists never what they are upto......a sattirical speech, i guess we have to step first instead of waiting for others, That's the way it changes....Hann, I agree with your words...:)

No...was my pleasure...:)
This an interesting poem. It has a strong meaning that for me (as an outsider) is difficult for me to fully grasp, yet leaves an impression of strong emotion in my mind.

On another note, your style reminds me of a band called Gogol Bordello. The lyricist's first language isn't English, but his songs are mostly in English and he often writes about the places he's travels and political issues.

There are a few grammatical errors in your piece, but in a weird way, I kind of like them. I see it as a part of the whole artwork. It shows you have an interesting background, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, sorry for the lengthy review. I just really dig your unique style!! :)

Leave your country for a year and i can challenge you that you will miss this art the most.

Your rant was comedic. Thanks for sharing.

This is something we Indians must be ashamed of. Even literate people do this sometimes. I guess these people will never learn that this art doesn't make us proud instead they insult every citizen in front of others.
Good piece of writing, this has to be published by the government so people read this and understand.
