water, everywhere

all we know submerged

loss

of our homes

belongings, some their live

chaos

around the town

millions in desperate need

helplessness

among people now

trapped, nothing to do

Courage

Giving away time, money

Risking our lives

Bond

Strangers help strangers

Though now we are one

Heart

Houston is strong

We can overcome

Hope 

All will work out
