just some words creating a scene in a story I will probably never finish

"

Half of a half felt smile flickered across her face. He stared at her from the corners of his eyes. Each of them occupied by distracting themselves from the uncertainty that hung heavy in the air like an uncomfortably warm mist.  Their staggering breaths punctuated the silence. Every movement caused invisible electricity to course through the room.

 

Then the silence broke suddenly. The sky erupted in thunder and the clouds cast a misty shadow where they lay.  He gazed toward the sound as an excuse to look her way. Unmoved, with half a smile on her face she stayed staring forward. A heavy sigh escaped her chest and she swallowed the words that teased her lips.
