Follow me to the rickety dock

That’s a place we can talk

Follow me where the oceans end

There I can tell you I’ve played pretend

Follow me to the southern lake

There I’ll tell you I’ve been a fake

Now you know my life

And the page I’ve been on

What I want you too see

No more do these things describe me

Follow me up the fluffy white cloud

My daddy up there is now proud

Follow me to the brighter green grass

Oh these smiles on our face will now last

I look at the picture of my old friends

Then I’ll tell you that’s where it began

Emotions can lead you down the wrong path

There you’ll find friends that won’t last
