It's Just Me

It's Just Me

A Poem by Clara Kevie

It's just me.
Hello, again.
It's just me.

I hope I'm okay.
And that we'll stay
Imperfections at bay
I can't hold back forever.

It's just me.
Hello, again.
It's just me.

I tried to be better
Make myself never
Make mistakes whether
or not I was right

It's just me.
Hello, again.
It's just me.

I'll push to improve
Not make wrong moves
get out of my groove
and I'll stop repeating

It's just me.
Hello, again.
It's just me.

I'll break my pattern
seise being stubborn
light a lantern
Old me goes to the light

It's just me.

But me it's not
It's me I fought
It's me I ought
To find again

It's just me.

If I'm not good
Then not us should
Because I could
Not not be me

It's just me.

And that has to be,
Can't you see,
It's key for me
To be enough

It's just me.

And what's enough
Although it's tough
is to be myself.
And myself…

It's just me.
