for how long it could
keep going, 
no one knows,
but we knew it would end.
and so it has,

I'll miss you
the way you smile
laugh, joke around
not a care in the world
must be nice
It was nice
the way your face lights up
when you dance and sing

it's just ended
like we knew it would.

Will you miss me
how you say you will
how you say you already do
will you miss me
in my emptiness fill
the way I miss you
will you miss me

our time has been so short
yet, I know our connection
has all I would ask for in worth
i know flawless is the complexion,
the foundation upon which
we became rich

I try not to regret
