Ignorance

Ignorance

A Poem by Clara Kevie

What was a good deed can shift
To a bad deed with a gift
Of misinterpretation
With motives and persuasion
Praise be on all those who see
Past fog, mirrors, and monkeys.
Behind the mist, no one ought
To go. The curtain hangs taught.
Pushing through all the toxin,
Trying not to let rocks in.
The drape has a lot of weight;
Fall into it to test fate
Hear it all crashing on top.
Feel the rods punch, fall, and pop,
Crushing down, with indifference
Wrong place, wrong time, ignorance.
