Take Me To The Moon

Take Me To The Moon

A Poem by Clara Kevie

Take me to
The moon
Take me all the way
Pretend we've been cursed
Banished from this land

Take me to
The moon
It's just you and I
See the new horizon
It's a brand new sky!

Drive a little slower
Make the ride seem longer
As we rise above the clouds.

take me to
the moon
What a life we'll have!
in the vacuum of space
wandering forever

Drive a little faster
If we start to get cold
We can warm up by the sun.

Take me to
The moon
Take me all the way
Pretend we've been cursed
Banished from this land

Take me to
The moon
It's just you and I
See the new horizon
It's a brand new sky!
