I wrote this for a situation I am dealing with now...one-sided relationships But there is hope....

 

I tell you how I feel

You tell me how you don’t

 

I pour out my heart to you, hoping to get a response

But nothing

Just the sound of my heart beating to the drum of defeat

 

I want to know how you feel

What you think

What you see

 

But the blindfolds of mystery and suspense continue to capture my every thought

 

Tell me how to love you

Make me understand

I have a become a lost soul in your realm, looking for a way out of captivity

 

Help me

Help me to love you

I have so much to give you spiritually, emotionally and physically

 

If you open the doorway to your heart

And allow me to enter into your delicacy

We can become one into eternity

 

Until you are ready to experience

I will be patient

For you are worth waiting
