Walking alone on the road

her heartbeat stopped

sensing the spasmodic fear

of the shoes following her..

In a solitary lane she was

startled of the devilish laughs

with lightning in the sky

and rain drops falling along by 

When one of them went ahead

pulling her scaff off

                         indeed getting a perfect reaction

"a good tight slap it was"

Ego did hurt

the two men even joined

throwing her on the slippery ground

clutching her beautiful locks

They tore off her shiny cloth

all her attempts,shouts and cry

were buried on this lonely ground

while the heaven even cried in despair..

As one by one they forced them on her

eventually her soul died

unbelievable it was

for an innocent heart to hold it that night..

She was left alone

unable to move

cover herself and get up

lying on the road with flowing blood..

Was it her fault?

to fight back the harassment with a slap?

or society would tell her the mistake

of moving out at night in western dress?

This pain can never be forgotten

who made her feel so broken

dislocated,depressed,suicidal?

where women aren't respected

treated well and made to feel safe

is not a place but a hell

A hell with no future,no present

with no hope ,no strength

remember that humanity is the biggest goal

following it is every society's role

as support is important for every broken soul..
