Thy capturing scent
A being that makes all faint.

Full moon,beneath a candelabra
Caskets,riches,a tone from an Oprah.


Cantaloupe dressing
She use to date a mason


A Gardner's daughter

Wakes up in a pristine country side.
With home mile and miles behind.


After the riches
Befriending all witches

A lad with a cantab
She fell for,never looked back.

A Gardner's daughter

Her father's oath
From it she wore her cloth

Now she wants a boat
A home and a dome


Obsessed with her new life
Forgetful,the dilemma of time

Lost with a lust
Forgetting her true most

A Gardner's daughter


Father was never proud
His legacy,his pride


She all left aside.

A life that wasn't hers
A life full of scars

Afterall she is but a Gardner's daughter

took me a few reads to grasp the story behind the poetry which is excellent I see she has left her root home to become obsessed with the life of luxury, did she see the illusion and return to home as of course she is a gardener's daughter, very good my friend and a welcome addition to my library :)

Without roots what are we? Tumbleweed...?
The gardener would have been so hurt to see her forget her humble beginnings - dealing all day - day in and day out with roots and soil. 'Twas his labours that brought her to the heady heights she achieved.
