Rebirth

It feels like I've been lost in a decade's sleep
Lying, crying, in a hopeless heap
Plagued by darkness, and constant pain
Lonely heart, full of disdain
Then came you, out of the blue
Showing me colors I never knew
Sprinkling sunshine on my guarded soul
Giving me back light, others had stole
Now, life is the way it's supposed to be
And I've packed away the melancholy. ~kjl

A well written write. I loved your rhyming both the internal and the end rhyming.

First of all, I loved your AABB rhyme scheme, and how smoothly it flowed throughout the poem... Your poem is itself speaks of rebirth, rebirth from darkness, from pain, from hardships of life... I have always believed in the theory of life that life always gives us an opportunity to rise up from the darkness and the ones who hold faith in their heart can surely rise again... You did an awesome job to speak of the aliveness after being under darkness for long time... An amazing work...
