Frankenstein - 3 perspectives

Frankenstein - 3 perspectives

A Poem by Kate F
"

Perspectives of the story Frankenstein from the monster, Frankenstein, and Mary Shelley.

"

There was no life, and then there was.

Senses tingling with the buzz, the scent of living things. Living me.

But I am alone.

No one is here to greet me, back from the world of the dead.

And I am alone.

The science is working.

I will be a god, master of a new race.

But no one else is here, but my creation.

No one is here to celebrate my victory with me.

I am alone.

Loneliness will overcome.

All love will eventually leave.

Nothing is permanent, everything is temporary.

These characters will prove this to everyone.

But I am alone.
