Take Me

Take Me

A Poem by Kate

If only he knew the effect his words have on me.
That every syllable he utters seeps through my skin,
Soaks through the seams of my mind and corrupts my thoughts.
He takes hold of my heart with every touch of his hazel eyes,
Injecting his poison into the marrow of my bones, leaving me speechless.
I long for the honey taste of his lips,
To feel his calloused hands.
For him to take away my inhibitions,
Taint me with his love,
Take my mind by storm.
I don't want to be pure.

About
I love writing and use it as a way to vent my emotions. I don't know if I'm any good, as I'm my own worst critic. Being that I use writing as an emotional outlet, every piece is very personal and has .. more..
