Dama de Noche (Lady of the Night)

Dama de Noche (Lady of the Night)

A Poem by katevincent

Moonlight spotted
Puny flowers in pinkish skin
Vibrant against the mauve green
Crawling...
Cheerfully kissing each other
Gently dancing with the
Sway of the nightly wind
I Am tempted to paint them, still
Laid them on memory for a keep
With their freshness all over
In sheepish little blushed
Here and there as it lasts

Dama de noche
The night flower
So beautiful, so deceiving
Of its pursy mildness
Gently seductive
Enticing
for a moment
But once you lose sight of them
They'll hardly be remembered

The beauty they possessed
For a scentless dama de noche
For the eyes of many
You are just part of the wild
Creeping, stretching bushes ride
Covering beyond
That isolated far
Uninhabited

But for the lonesome midnight
You are part of the
Essence of the night
And for the passers by
You are quite a beauty
To admire

Dama de noche
