What you can feel and see on top of the world...

On the,

Top of the world,

Is you and me,

Watching people live their lives.

 

At the,

Top of the world,

We see how,

People lie,

Steal, love, and hate each other.

 

The world is cruel.

But sometimes,

It shows beauty.

 

You and me,

Are on the,

Top of the world,

And together,

We'll show everyone,

What talents we have,

To offer the world.

 

And soon,

More people will join us.

They'll get a chance,

To show what they can do.

 

The world,

Will start getting rid of,

The ugliness,

People didn't mean to make.

 

Everyone,

Will soon,

Be happy.

 

So,

At the,

Top of the world,

Is you and me,

Waiting for the right moment,

To jump off,

So we can let other people,

Get a chance of a happy moment...

Message Proven :D. Change the world to a happy place. In this case, a happy place is a place with unicorns and faries and- joking. What you said up there, -points to the poem- encourages people to give up their evil ways ( muhahahaa) and trade them for doing what is good ( yay). Only I have to say, if you stay on top of the world, make sure not to fall. :3 - falls off the top of the world and lands splat onto the pavement looking like a flattened pancake-

I thought this was a lovely poem. It reminds me of the song On Top of the World, but yours is more about the darkness...that song is more towards the light...I loved this piece a lot. Thanks for sharing.
