Economy Renga; Oct. 16, 2oo8

A Poem by k. brown

Lone violin;
a vagabond plays
capriccio
for some bread

00

hard times;
the neighbor calls
can't afford
two hours
to chat about
nothing

00

$187 in bills;
The lawn
goes unwatered

An economy already in shambles. I still recall people speaking of 2008...a period in time that I was oblivious to. Uh uh is how some who foresaw this happening reacted. Yet, it was too late! I like this!
