Curbstone

Curbstone

A Poem by Kaotic Barbie
"

A poem about my "mother", If that's what we shall call her.

"

Stone cold skeleton, you are
Lieing their, sick in your room
All out of precious methadone
Breaking down into your tomb.

I can't believe you bore me
To this sad, miserable world you live
When I should have had much better
But better is not what you offered to give.

I honored you as a child
Looked up to you like the shiniest star
And here is where you have led me
From a childhood nightmare, not too far.

You wish you would just die already
Crying to God about your horrible life
But you haven't been thankful for anything
You havn't been a good mother, sister or wife.

I tried to make you understand
Tried to tell you to change, that i forgive
But you just want to crawl into your little hole
With not a single hint of motive.

I have all but given up
There is nothing more I can do for you
You choose to stop living, to end it all now
You have left me on my own to purview.

Thanks for leaving me to raise my self

For I have become stronger on my own

I have traveled this ladder as the person I am

While you are still stuck sitting on the curbstone.

I hate people that take advantage of their lives... That's why I'm very emotional on this subject
