The woman

This is the story of a woman

Once upon a time there was a woman who was the kindest in all the land.
One day, an evil witch cursed this kind woman to have an alternate
personality of a beast. The woman lived for many years under this curse,
fighting with herself to the point of insanity. After twenty years of
her isolated fight, her two personalities finally decided to battle it
out. This battle raged on for six years and the woman's body took a
terrible toll. In the end, her good personality absorbed the bad and her
mental state returned to normal, yet she died a mere three days after
the battle ended, as her life had flashed before her eyes and her body
was now that of an old woman. To this day, people still claim to see the
woman's two personalities battling in various places, often times
separated by a mirror with their eyes covered as so that she cannot see
that she is battling none other than herself.

Author's Note

I was asked to write my friend a story while she slept... So, I quickly wrote a story of whatever was on my mind at the moment...
