Rainbows

Rainbows

A Poem by Kat

Rainbows

oN THE blue. lYING. aCHING

oN THE white. sIGHING. bAKING

oN THE red, YOU SAY 'bE aWAY!'

oN pink THE WORDS ARE, 'hERE TO sTAY.'

oN fawn IT IS A TWIST

oN gold, A DRIVING FIST

oN THE green, NOT FELT NOT SEEN

oN brown IT'S OVERKEEN

oN OPENINGS OF yellow, IT HURTS

oN THE SCOWLING black, IT FLIRTS

colour ME IN AND shade MY CORNERS

fOR rainbows ARE ALL i SEE.
