Insanity

Insanity

A Poem by kayama

Amidst my madness who do I have
But alas here I am,
A divine madness,
The twins of despair,
Alone I stand
Together we fall,
My mind is completely together
We work hard to keep it that way
For what can keep a man alive
When no one else can help
But nonsense, for I was never alone
We began to talk
And we became friends
Forever, we melted.
I is me
For he was him
And  it was made at that time,
That we were all
And all that was,
And left to be,
Was nothing.
Nothing, dripping from my mouth
But the lies that keep me alive
The twisted tale of a man
Or what is left
Perhaps what is right
Nothing is forever
Forever is a time
And time is money
I have no money.
There is nothing left in a sad world
For a man who has nothing
Lies, again and now
It happens so quick,
The blink of an eye,
Perhaps I’m just blind.
Until the truth be told
I will continue to rant
With words written from a mute man
A broken man,
Torn from the world
The odd man out
When numbers are gone,
Words still keep me alive
As I may fade and pass away,
Words still keep me alive.
