Something in the Mist

He didn’t look anything like she expected when he stepped out of the taxi. He was young looking and quite handsome for 45 years old. He stood at 5’ 4” with sea green eyes and chestnut hair. He greeted her with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. His best friend Doodle was by his side the whole night. Doodle is his rainbow unicorn. It was raining which was good considering they had just gone through a drought so they all played out in the rain for a little while until their movie started. They were trying to find their seats when she realized her diamond ring on her index finger was missing.  She put down her popcorn and retraced her steps. By now it was misting so she could see a little bit better. She finally found her diamond ring after searching up and down the street for three hours. And she got another surprise….After three hours in the rain she realized….Alec was actually Betty….a female.
