Freezing Eyes

Freezing Eyes

A Poem by kaylabear500584

It hurts so bad to know that,
The one I knew's not there.
To remember that once I kissed you,
And ran my fingers threw your hair.

To look in your snowy, freezing eyes,
Seeing someone different,
Someone I despise.

Watching as you pass by me,
In the busy, hazy halls.
I just feel like crying,
But I'd settle for dying.

You're cutting at my heartache,
Like I cut at my skin.
Bleeding, stinging, pounding,
How did this begin?

You sold me with a smile,
Then you said my name.
You killed me with a phone call,
One day brought so much pain.

Don't pretend you ever loved me,
I know you never did..
Its okay that you fooled me,
I was the ignorant kid.

Now just let me be,
Let me cry it out.
Although I know I'm not free,
I'll take the cowards way out.
