Knitting with Chopsticks

Knitting with Chopsticks

A Poem by TheKaylaPup

Yarn
Of many colors,
Pieces of different sizes,
Scraps all tied together,
Only chopsticks to combine them.

Kitting
Isn't easy
Without any needles,
Chopsticks can be used
But yarn gets frayed on spillenters.

Squares
Are made so little,
For chopsticks are so short,
Later tied together,
All the little squares make a blanket.

Blanket
To wrap up in
Makes for a warmer bed,
Even if its just the curb
Where I rest my head.

Author's Note

TheKaylaPup
The idea is that the narrator doesn't have a bed, or money, or anything but scraps of yarn, and chopsticks, which they use to make a blanket.

Your idea was clearly and beautifully written, even without the author's note! I love to knit sometimes just for the sake of knitting. I crochet all of my own purses in many different designs; however, they all have the same secret pocket.
