Never Wanted You

Never Wanted You

A Poem by Nicole

We met in English class,
I sat next to you,
Where we would talk,
Until the class was through.

We'd go to lunch,
Everyday after Cem Com,
And finally the day came,
When you asked me to prom.

After the party,
We went to my room,
Where we completed the tradition,
And I felt the end coming soon.

You got dressed and told me,
You didn't think this could work,
Then you left me alone, crying,
And I hated your guts, you jerk.

The next day,
I thought about what to do,
I didn't know,
If I still wanted you.

Two weeks later,
I told you the truth,
That you were the daddy,
But of course you wanted proof.

You're in California,
And I'm now a mother,
The only one who takes care of us,
Is my older brother.

You should see our son,
He looks just like you,
He doesn't know his father,
But I'm glad that we're through.

I've been in similar situations, but, thankfully, i didn't end up pregnant.
I like this, it was well written and it showed alot of emotion.

Wow, this is a stinging write and unfortunately so true of
many a young people. I don't even know what to say, but
it's sad. Thank you for your entry!
