Five Minutes

Five Minutes

A Poem by Lover Of Words

One day I look at the clock
Boy how time has passed
How I treasure the ones I love
In my heart, they under lock and key
When you lose one
That you thought would be here forever
Just never thought this longing
Would happen too me too
How I wish I had five more minutes
With my grandfather
Who now lives in my heart
And it aches for him so bad
It causes me too be so sincerely sad
