"

it's a response for poem i read in my college english. you kind of need to read the original to get a feel for the scheme of it. it was meant to mimick the style with a different outlook. short again. its different from my usuall style. i don't normall

"

Oh, to you of undecided heart,

Mulling over harvest wheat,

Who thinks and dwells on life and love.

Wasting time whilst others meet.

One who watches rushing water

I wonder can you swim at all

rooted to the sandy shore

"Will you drown if you should fall?"

Eyes alone and full of wonder

watch a sparrow find it’s mate.

Ponder over countless hours.

Find the answers far too late.

Risk of trying roots thee

like rose beneath a winter snow

will winter wilt thy leaves

or will the flower bloom and grow

stone to the shore

first advance must be made

leave fear of what is found

just beyond the oceans wake.
