Two Different People

Two Different People

A Poem by ♪The Girl Next Door♪
"

I'm talking to you.

"

I don't know what to say anymore.

it hurts me down to the core.

Come fill this empty space.

I love you too pieces, it's true.

But how am I to believe you?

You're just so far away.

At this poitn, you're tired of my crap.

But something won't let me believe you love me back.

Maybe it's that voice inside my head.

Refusing healing,

silently screaming

making me wish I was dead.

And how am I to trust you?

Two different people, you relay.

One says they love me, true?

One doesn't know what to say.

On a small screen your letters tell me

you care for and love me to death.

But face to face or mouth to ear,

I'll tell ya, don't hold your breath.

So at the end of the day,

can you honestly say,

say those three words too me?

Was it all just a game,

or am I to blame?

One person, I need you to be.

Author's Note

♪The Girl Next Door♪
I wrote this fairly quickly. It's kind of been on my mind for a while, but I've kind of denied it to be a thought until now. I guess I've been blind with love, if that makes sense. Please hold back on negative comments and rewriting my work, this means a lot to me. I hope the person I wrote this to knows who he is.
