By the stars of Orion

By the stars of Orion

A Poem by kewayne wadley

Arms long for the warmth of another,
Worlds apart from the sleepless night that lyes awake waiting,
Lost among the countless number of stars that shoot across the wrinkles of time,
Arms go unfulfilled,
In fear that they'd grow cold,
In an vast array of a dark sea that grows limitless above our heads,
May the stars find serenity in your eyes, the same stars that travel the universe not knowing where they'll end up next,
Brown halos that gleam in satisfaction, satisfied by the thirst that's quenched once seen,
I find comfort there,
Your eyes,
If faith would be so kind,
I'd find my purpose there,
Your arms
