They were almost in love

They were almost in love

A Story by Keysha Becerra
"

This is a story of two lovers that were fully happy together but they could not be together. So by reading this story, what can you conclude? Were they in love?

"

They were in love, not completely but yes, they were happy. They were happy for having each other. They were happy for the positive things that they had lived together, but also for the negative things. They were happy because they share so many things together, and the most important; they were sharing their feelings, but they didn’t notice that. They were sharing happiness, kisses, hugs, laughs, and tears; but there were something they notice, that they were not sharing love, they were sharing hate. Hate because they couldn’t be together in public, they always had to find a private way of seeing each other and being together. They couldn’t be together because they knew that people will get the way of start talking about their past lives and it was bad because they knew they didn’t deserve each other. They didn’t deserve each other because they were so different. She was cold, but she was a free spirit woman. He was a dreamer, but he was stuck in his past. They both had their way of being, and one day they took the chance of trying live their lives alone, without having each other. Later on, he let her go. She didn’t wanted to leave him; but sooner she concluded that she was better without him, that he didn’t deserve her. She was right; she was too much for him. But he was right too. He had to let her go not because he didn’t love her, just because he is better without her, that way he can find himself, and he can love himself first before loving her the same way. Then days, weeks, months, and years passes by. They didn’t see each other too often, just one or two days at a month. But it was different now. Now they don’t look to each other the same way.  They don’t see each other like lovers, even friends. They think that they didn’t have feelings or anything else together anymore. But there were something they still have. The same hate between each other. This time was different, because they were sorry for each other. Sorry for let it go. Then, they concluded that they shouldn’t break up. The hate that was since the beginning was for seeing if they were truly in love. But it wasn’t like that. They weren’t in love, because when people are in love, they fight for each other, they look for each other, and things may be bad, but loves can beat anything. Love can do anything. They may had think they were madly in love, but they put hate before love and arrogance before feelings. They knew that they had should told what they really felt. Because now, it’s too late for know that they were almost in love, and almost because there was missing something, and that was faith, true love, and courage.
