Rollercoaster Ride

Rollercoaster Ride

A Poem by Scene, not herd
"

I just got back from a five day trip, and spent two days in an amusement park indulging in gravity defying machines. Mustn't turn into an adrenaline junkie. Mustn't.

"

Failure
Shock
None of the usual

Afterall, so many have
Gone
Before you

Brain chemicals
Coursing through the blood
Creates a rush
Some would die for

A decision
The pivotal watershed
WHOOSH
I'm changed for life

In the evening fog
We fly though the air
I hear my screaming
It sounds like I'm
Dying

Barely before
You start to delight in the feeling
All too soon- its really over
So much like the way life is

Loops in the air
Look at this another way-
This is how the superheroes roll.
