The Death of Life

The Death of Life

A Poem by kfox
"

An unusually dark poem for me. Just me thinking about life and how I currently feel. I respect all opinions and all ways of looking at life.

"
Ohh God who rules all life
Why must we live in such plight
Why rain down such strife
Cause good men to fight
Kill our loved ones with your blight
To make us wish for deaths scythe
Sorry I only mean to be polite
You bring darkness so we can see your light
Is that why you promise an afterlife
So when we wander in the night
we can find solace in your knife
