an open letter

an open letter

A Poem by Diving underwater for Air

This is an open letter to that boy,
the one that every girl instantly thought of when reading the words ‘that boy’.
And The boy that automatically knew it was about him.
So dear you,
Life is difficult when your apart of it,
you make me over think,
You make me breathless and scared of what the future holds for me
And for you…
You make my feet cold, my palms hot, my mouth dry and my eyes wet.
But mostly you make my heart pound.
But now you’ve disappeared, and you still make my life difficult.
I still over think,
I’m breathless and scared what if my future doesn’t hold you?
What if you never hold me?
You still give me cold feet, hot palms, dry mouth and tears still fall.
But this time, you’re not around to fix them …to care… to know they are happening,
you still make my heart pound.
Sadly, through the disappearance of you I’ve realised
As much as I don’t want to, I have to admit,
I do love you.
Signed, That girl
The one every girl who reads this relates to
And that girl every boy knew it was from.
