not for me

not for me

A Poem by AKhaus

I can hear the cars outside streaming by this window
laying next to you is cold and I need to crawl out of this
the words don't flow from your lips with any bit of eloquence
just air pouring out of that empty space
You don't feel what I feel
our moment was brief and the stars were there
I can't try to fit into something that is not meant for me
awkward movements, so mechanical as your truth is revealed
my hunger has passed and the feast is over
always traveling between the worlds of animal and idealist
the nature is desire, the soul is passion
I walk delicately so that the beast does not consume my center
