your words

your words

A Poem by AKhaus

can you feel me when I cry?
can you taste the salt from my eyes as I lay here empty, without your skin pressed against mine.
it's so impossible for me to comprehend how I missed you sitting there.
now my ears ache for your words again.
I'm feeling trapped by my desire for you.
the heart stretching from my chest as my spirit glides to our secret nest.
gently woven strings of thoughts.
circling round and round my head and body.
it's getting hard not to start feasting on you.
