In the light

In the light

A Poem by AKhaus

The things we see in the light, those are not ours, never to be captured or restrainted.
The things we feel in the dark, sometimes they are not you, not what lies beneath.
Deep beneath my skin flows a vibration calling for you, for the truth.
The things we dream are sometimes gone before we wake, time is cruel to those who toil in such self misery.
Before you know it, you must let go yet again to those delicate things so you can breathe again in this world under the ocean.
