![]() YearsA Poem by AKhaus
I have years to spend with you so please bend my ear, my heart, my head with the gravity of your illuminating self.
I've walked plenty of paths and each time we meet. No matter the direction our acquaintance is constant and will continue. Sometimes I wake and see your sun, I want to stay there to feel your warmth. So much time I wasted, you knowing all along, how my mind took a while to catch-up with your wisdom. I am devoted to this aura of light, I am fixed upon its existence and health. As though no time has passed when we lock our gazes upon one another, as though the frozen pond had stayed solid without motion or interference. © 2017 AKhaus |
