how little I must mean

how little I must mean

A Poem by AKhaus

How little I must mean to you, for you to through a stone at my head and still move with ease.
Taking words I shared and throwing them back at me.
How rich it is, the things you profess to fear and they turn out to be the things you do so well.
How little I must mean when your knee jerks forth the pain I once shared.
Please just overlook it as everyone does and mark it up to my hysteria because I am just someone undone.
Make sure you see what you want me to be and not the person who was once standing in front of you.
Make sure to cast away all that I am, discount my emotions and make me the bad man.
How little I must mean that it's okay, so okay when I walk away.
I expected more and guess I wasn't prepared to have skeletons used as tools against me.
How little I must mean...
