spider

spider

A Poem by AKhaus

I see you climbing there, you sticky spider with your blackened stare.
Multiple eyes fixed as your fangs begin to twitch with the hungry blades poking through.
Trail the walls of my room, hang from my ceiling with an ominous view of my veins pumping as I sleep never suspecting you.
Dangle down with serious frown as you tangle your tongue in my blood and feed.
Eight legs stuck there as the hair on your stiff appendages curl with the warmth of me filling your mouth.
Dear spider, spider there...spider haunting me as light turns to dark and no one else is here.

The spider may be literal, in which case a folded up magazine well swung is the answer, or it may be metaphorical. If the latter is the case, the spider may be a symbol for anxiety.
