Unfolding

Unfolding

A Poem by AKhaus

Spread wide and laying bare as the ground softens the heated glow of the sun.
I find myself unraveling when I should be unfolding.
The cutting of my emotions stings my brain and flows down my limbs as the beguilement of my heart turns my flesh to stone.
How the flux of life take more than it gives when your love surrenders it's dignity to find common ground,
The compromise is self-treason.
I need to unfold.
I need unfold the gems held close that pierce my chest and bleed my brain.
