Gone

Hungry.

I stand in the

doorway.

Darkness consumes

life.

Pain consumes

love.

All is wasted away.

Starved.

 

Thirsty.

Your face is

emotionless.

Silence drowns

noise.

Tears drown

everything.

The heart is dry.

Arid.

 

Deaf.

You have gone

away.

Hate silences

happiness.

Screams silence

laughter.

Do you speak?

Quiet.

 

Mute.

Oblivion beckons

you.

Sorrow quiets

memories.

Dread quiets

warmth.

I cry with no voice.

Hushed.

 

Dead.

You are so

cold.

Winter kills

summer.

Doom kills

dreams.

Why are you

Gone?
